Broadcasters look to delay political ad rule

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) is asking the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to delay the implementation of a rule requiring them to post information about political ads online.

The rule is scheduled to go into effect on Aug. 2.

But in a filing with the FCC on Tuesday, the broadcasters argued that the regulation should be suspended pending the outcome of their lawsuit in federal court.
