Now the real DeLay legal battle begins

The Lone Star Report:
"This morning, much of the media is celebrating the demise of former Congressman Tom DeLay (R-Sugar Land), sentenced yesterday to three years in prison and ten years probation for campaign finance violations. I'm reminded of the old Mark Twain quote: 'The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.'

This is but one skirmish in a larger legal war, and one where Team DeLay was playing on the road. Soon the case will move to the 3rd Court of Appeals. Hoepfully, the Travis County District Attorney's Office won't try to recuse all of the Republicans and make some of the baseless allegations that we've seen earlier in this trial, because the justices on the 3rd Court of Appeals are fair and fine people."
