Group fined $12,000 for violating campaign-finance law.

The Denver Post:
"A judge has slapped a $12,000 campaign-finance- law penalty on a group behind a failed ballot measure that would have required more defendants to post a cash bond to get out of jail.

The decision by Administrative Law Judge Laura Broniak declared that Safe Streets Colorado, the group behind Proposition 102, did not file campaign-finance reports before taking contributions to put the measure on the ballot."
