Republican Young Kim loses Assembly re-election bid

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Former Democratic Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva has won her bid for a comeback in the California Legislature, defeating first-term Republican Young Kim in Orange County.
