John McCain had won four more electoral votes in 2008, he would have still lost, 361-177, to then-Sen. Obama. And if then-Vice President George H.W. Bush had lost four votes to then Massachusetts Gov. Michael Dukakis in 1988, Bush still would have won the Oval Office, 422-115.
