The Rick Perry-Mitt Romney contrast

POLITICO.com:
"'I think I’m the right guy to be the Republican nominee for president in part because I spent 25 years in the private sector and I know how the economy works,' Romney said, according to POLITICO's Kasie Hunt. He continued: 'I’ve had the occasion to lead four different enterprises, successfully. I’ve also had the experience of working in government and helping lead a state. And those experiences, I think, qualify me to get the economy going again.'

Perry doesn't have any comparably impressive private-sector experience and has spent most of his adult life as a public official. If Romney can define the difference between himself and Perry as the difference between a businessman and a politician, that's not a bad place to run from."
