"The amounts of alleged illegal contributions in the indictment include $40,000 to the campaign fund for Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Stone during his unsuccessful 2010 bid for state Senate, when the campaign contribution limit was $3,900.
Minor also is charged with donating $26,400 to the campaign of Brenda Salas in her failed effort to gain the 65th District Assembly seat in 2006. The maximum limit then was $3,300.
There was no indication that either Stone or Salas knew they received alleged illegal contributions."
