Former NH resident tells NH to "get over yourselves" and stop their "unfair" "outsized" influence in the presidential primaries

Get over it! | Concord Monitor:
"I recently lived in New Hampshire for seven years, mostly in Gilford, and know the thrill and excitement of being one of the first primaries in the nation. But enough is enough.

Secretary of State Bill Gardner is already saying that he may have to move up the proposed Feb. 14 date of New Hampshire's 2012 primary because it lands only four days before Nevada's Feb. 18 caucus - a violation of New Hampshire laws that require the primary to take place a week before a 'similar election' is held elsewhere.

As Iowa has a similar law, this only forces the entire process forward, ridiculously so.

All of you are ruining our nation's democratic process, for your own selfish reasons.

New Hampshire citizens have no special, inherent right to determine the presidential nominees.

You had a nice run, but get over yourselves."
