Bonner tapped to lead House Ethics Committee

WRCBtv.com | Chattanooga News:
"House Republicans have selected Congressman Jo Bonner of Mobile to serve as chairman of the House Ethics Committee.

House speaker-in-waiting John Boehner said the Alabama lawmaker was picked because he is respected by members of both parties and appreciates the importance of ethics in Congress.

Bonner spent four years on the committee, including the last two as its top GOP member. The committee is charged with investigating House members for violations of ethics rules."
