"Authorities arrested a Paterson city councilman Thursday who appeared to eke out a miracle win in May after 49 mail-in ballots were discovered.
Rigo Rodriquez, the candidate, was charged with third-degree witness tampering. His wife and another supporter were arrested on similar charges.
They were the latest in a string of 14 arrests this week in Paterson, a city of nearly 150,000 people. A final suspect is in the Dominican Republic but indicated he would turn himself in in two weeks, the attorney general's office said."
