Audrey Perry Martin

Ms. Perry is a conservative attorney who specializes in campaign finance and election law. She currently works for the Sacramento political activity law firm Bell, McAndrews and Hiltachk. Previously, she worked as Deputy Campaign Manager and General Counsel for Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner's California Gubernatorial race. Before that, she was FEC Counsel for McCain-Palin 2008 and was Deputy General Counsel for Romney for President. Ms. Perry is very active on social media and frequently posts about current political law issues on her blog, www.legallypolitical.com. 

Ms. Perry's legal practice consists of advising corporate, non-profit and campaign clients on:

-Federal and state campaign finance laws
-Lobbying disclosure
-Government ethics laws
-Public official financial disclosure
-Fundraising strategy
-Campaign administration, operations and accounting
-Ballot access
-Election Day operations
-Delegate selection rules
-Advertising, direct mail, robo-call and other public communications compliance
-Political convention rules and operations.

She previously worked as legal counsel to the Committee on House Administration of the U.S. House of Representatives where she focused on issues such as HAVA implementation, election integrity, congressional ethics, and campaign finance. Ms. Perry worked at the Federal Election Commission as law clerk to Commissioner Michael E. Toner and at the DC law firm Caplin & Drysdale where she focused exclusively on campaign finance, election law and lobbying issues. 
She received her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a bachelor’s degree in political science and journalism from Bringham Young University.
